For: anyone writing FedM8 (or any JBNX product) — marketing, product UI, Academy, emails, portal notes Portal: https://projects.jbnx.io/framework/human-framework Skill: skills/human-framework/SKILL.md — agents must load this before drafting user-facing copy Also load: TEXTBOOK_TEACHER.md — https://projects.jbnx.io/framework/textbook-teacher — schoolbook words, jargon on the dotted word, no defensive teaching Updated: 2026-08-20
This is not a tone palette. It is how to sound like a person who has done the work, talking to a person who is tired.
If the page could have been written by a demo bot that never lost a weekend to SAM, throw it out.
AI default voice sells. It stacks features. It smiles with adjectives. It says “unlock,” “seamless,” “powerful,” “next-gen,” “all-in-one,” “designed for modern teams.”
Real humans teaching real humans do something else:
Purpose. Emotion. Flow. If any one is missing, it reads fake.
Every block of copy must answer: why does this exist for this person, right now?
Not “what does the feature do.” Not “what can the platform offer.”
Ask:
If you cannot answer in one plain sentence, you do not understand the block yet. Do not write.
Emotion is not hype. Emotion is honesty about how it feels.
Allowed:
Forbidden:
Emotion without purpose is melodrama. Purpose without emotion is a manual. Together they feel human.
Flow means the reader always knows where they are in a story.
Not a pile of cards. Not a feature grid that could be shuffled randomly.
Every surface gets a storyboard before sentences:
| Beat | Job |
|---|---|
| 1. World | Where are they standing? |
| 2. Pressure | What hurts or is at risk? |
| 3. Truth | What is actually true / what we refuse to fake? |
| 4. Move | What do they do next? |
| 5. Proof | What do they leave holding? (artifact, decision, calm) |
If beats 1–4 are missing, you are listing. Listing is what AI does when it does not care.
Before any homepage hero, pricing block, empty state, lesson, or email:
That storyboard becomes human copy. Without it, you get “3-level first-bid path with progress bar and deep dives.”
Delete or rewrite on sight:
unlock · seamless · cutting-edge · next-gen · all-in-one · powerful · robust · streamline your workflow · elevate · supercharge · game-changer · revolutionary · AI-powered (as a brag) · smart insights · data-driven decisions · designed for modern teams · everything you need · take your X to the next level · hassle-free · one-stop shop · delve · leverage · utilize · facilitate · ecosystem · synergy · holistic · empower · transform your · in today’s fast-paced · unlock the power of
Also ban feature soup: stacking five capabilities in one sentence with commas and “and.”
Also ban fake precision: “pWin,” “winning codes,” “guaranteed,” “always,” unless you are explicitly saying we refuse those fictions.
assets/gloss.js) — do not lecture the term in a paragraph.| Test | Pass looks like |
|---|---|
| Table test | You could say it to one tired owner across a table without laughing at yourself |
| Shuffle test | If you reorder sections, the page breaks — meaning there was flow |
| Delete-brand test | On branded marketing, removing the brand still leaves a voice that is specific (not generic SaaS) |
| Salesman scan | Zero ban-list words; zero “unlock the power” energy |
| Purpose line | You can state the purpose of each block in one sentence |
| Emotion check | There is a real feeling named or clearly implied — not hype |
| Artifact check | The reader leaves with a decision, a file, a saved search, or a clear next step |
| Silence check | You removed at least one sentence that only existed to sound impressive |
Before (robot): “Unlock powerful AI-driven proposal workflows to streamline compliance and supercharge your capture.”
After (human): “Build the matrix before you write. Assist cuts the grind — it will not invent your past performance.”
Before: “Our comprehensive dashboard delivers actionable market intelligence across agencies and NAICS.”
After: “If you cannot name two agencies that buy what you sell, you are not ready to chase RFPs. Start with the free dashboard.”
Before: “Get started today on your digital transformation journey in the federal marketplace.”
After: “Create a free account. Finish one certification step. Come back tomorrow.”
For agents: load skills/human-framework/SKILL.md and follow it. Do not “add warmth” as a coat of paint. Rebuild from purpose, emotion, and flow.
TEXTBOOK_TEACHER.md · https://projects.jbnx.io/framework/textbook-teacher) = schoolbook words, definition on the hard word, no defensive teaching, no salesman wrappers. Kills manifesto pedagogy that this file used to allow (“we teach as you go, then get out of the way”).Human Framework wins against salesman voice and clever structure. A perfectly structured lesson that sounds like a salesman still fails.
Textbook Teacher wins when “name the tradeoff” becomes a speech about how we teach or how honest we are. Writer slogans such as “then stop” stay in doctrine files — not on the homepage.
Storyboard the truth. Name the feeling. Give one move. Then stop.
